Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in network engineering and DevOps
Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing
protocols such as BGP and OSPF
Experience with network monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or PRTG
Strong knowledge of DevOps processes and tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and
Kubernetes
Experience with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure
Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
What you’ll be working on
About the Position
Our client is seeking a Network and DevOps Engineer to join their team and help us build and maintain their network infrastructure and DevOps processes. As a Network and DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with their development, operations, and security teams to ensure that their systems are highly available, reliable, and scalable.
Responsibilities:
Design, deploy and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
Implement and maintain DevOps processes for building, deploying, and monitoring applications and infrastructure
Automate the deployment and management of infrastructure using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes
Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and troubleshoot issues
Develop and maintain network and system security protocols and procedures
Collaborate with development teams to ensure that applications are designed for high
availability, scalability, and reliability
Continuously improve their systems and processes to ensure that they are aligned with
industry best practices and meet business requirements
Provide technical guidance and support to other teams within the organization
