  • LOCATION: Remote - Work from anywhere (TimeZone: CST | Partial overlap)

  • HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $45 – $55/hr

  • ESTIMATED DURATION: 40h/week - Long term

Requirements










  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field




  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in network engineering and DevOps




  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing


    protocols such as BGP and OSPF




  • Experience with network monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or PRTG




  • Strong knowledge of DevOps processes and tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and


    Kubernetes




  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure




  • Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies




  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills




  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

About the Position


 






Our client is seeking a Network and DevOps Engineer to join their team and help us build and maintain their network infrastructure and DevOps processes. As a Network and DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with their development, operations, and security teams to ensure that their systems are highly available, reliable, and scalable.






 


Responsibilities:








  • Design, deploy and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers




  • Implement and maintain DevOps processes for building, deploying, and monitoring applications and infrastructure




  • Automate the deployment and management of infrastructure using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes




  • Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and troubleshoot issues




  • Develop and maintain network and system security protocols and procedures




  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that applications are designed for high


    availability, scalability, and reliability




  • Continuously improve their systems and processes to ensure that they are aligned with


    industry best practices and meet business requirements




  • Provide technical guidance and support to other teams within the organization
