Are you a result-driven technical leader capable of reporting to senior leadership?
The Director of DevOps plays a key role in GeoComply’s success by overseeing all activities related to customer success and ultimately the success of GeoComply’s releases and products. This position is responsible for ensuring resources are available at all times to provide the required DevOps support as per client expectations and service agreements, and for analyzing and developing strategies to improve production systems and streamline new releases. This position also leads and manages the DevOps Team, both on-site and remotely, and ensures their individual and collective success.
What you will be doingBuilding out a high-performing team, modernizing development tools and processesDrive strategy, innovation, delivery and best practices for the Development department. Provide leadership by example, leveraging organizational, technical, process, and people management skills. Managing budgets and working with 3rd party vendors and peers to develop and coordinate strategy, architecture, roadmaps, budgets, and execution of Infrastructure services
About YouA broad DevOps, Software Engineering and maintenance experience with a Minimum 5 years of experience at the Director level. A proven ability to work with other leaders across IT and multiple functional areas. Able to set the balance between technology strategies and organizational priorities.Knowledge of and experience in management and financial reporting/analysis; a minimum of 3 years is preferredKnowledge in the following areas is required: human resources, finance and personnel; oral and written communications; planning and evaluation; and governanceA high level of interpersonal skills to make formal, persuasive presentations to groups and to deal effectively with people from all segments of the industryDemonstrates critical competencies in commitment to results, business savvy, leading change, and motivation.Action-oriented and innovative; ability to translate broad goals into achievable steps and ability to anticipate and solve problems and take advantage of opportunities
