Our Data Warehouse Team is looking for an Azure Data Engineer/SQL Developer! You will be working as part of a team within a dynamic, fun, challenging and creative environment (Azure Cloud & On-premise) in order to achieve team-oriented goals.


What you'll be doing:



  • Building data migration solutions (including from on-premise to cloud), building pipelines, Managing physical database design and implementation

  • Resolving complex issues involving: database performance, database capacity, resiliency, stability, replication, and other key aspects of distributed database technology.

  • Researching and recommending solutions that best meet business needs and enterprise operational requirements

  • Work closely with multiple application development team(s) to implement and support data-oriented development efforts.

  • Review, test, update and document detailed disaster recovery/business continuity plans for key production SQL Servers


What you'll need to be successful:


Must Haves: 



  • Experience with developing on Azure Cloud environment, minimum 4+ year, specifically with Azure SQL DB (or equivalent), Synapse, Data Factory (ADF), Blob Storage, Data Lake.

  • Design and Develop ETL/ELT pipeline processes.

  • Experience with Azure Dedicated and Serverless Spark pools

  • Familiarize with basic self-integration runtime and Azure cloud networking

  • Experience with developing on on-premise Microsoft SQL Server 2017 and above, minimum 4+ year

  • Database, Tables, Pipelines Design, Database Management, Requirements Analysis, Teamwork, Presenting Technical Information, Training, Operating Systems.

  • Excellent knowledge of T-SQL with minimum of 4+ years of experience

  • Experience in writing Stored Procedures / Functions.

  • Experience with SSIS, SSAS.

  • Good knowledge of GIT

  • Database, Tables, Pipelines Design, Database Management, Requirements Analysis, Teamwork, Presenting Technical Information, Training, Operating Systems.

  • Ability to perform minor DBA tasksif needed (Indexing, Query Tuning, Manage Database security, etc.).

  • Knowledge of indexes, index management, statistics, integrity checks, configuration, patching.

  • Basic Knowledge of HADR technologies (Replication, Log shipping, etc.) is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills in English

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Share technical expertise with team and provide recommendations to implement design and code reviews.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Good communication skills in managing technical information with the team.
