We are looking for a Sr. DevOps Engineer to add to our team. This role will get to choose and shape the technology we use as a company and lead projects and team members at different stages within projects.
You'll Report To: Senior Manager, Technical Operations
A typical day as an eCommerce Manager might include:Collaborate with stakeholders across Leaf Group’s brands to define infrastructure and deployment needsDesign secure and scalable AWS cloud infrastructureProvision, configure and maintain the cloud infrastructureReview, test and troubleshoot code issuesDevelop and maintain operational toolsConduct infrastructure cost analysis and optimization
What You Have:3+ years of experience in building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (rare exceptions for highly skilled engineers) including strong knowledge of AWS SDKs and CLI.Demonstrated expertise in DevOps principles, best practices, and automation including continuous integration and code deployment strategies using tools like Jenkins, Circle CI, Github actions or other.Experience in infrastructure deployment and management with proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform.Hands-on experience in networking and Linux administrationDemonstrated experience with deploying, managing, and tuning Kubernetes, Docker, Varnish, Nginx, and ELK.Competency with multiple AWS services like ECS, EC2, EBS, S3, ECS, EKS, RDS, VPC, Route53, ELB, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, and LambdaProgramming experience with languages like Python, Go, shell scripting, etc.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skils: Working knowledge of data structures, data storage fundamentals, and networkingExperience in implementing monitoring, alerting, and logging solutionsPrevious experience with Docker containers and container management solutionsDemonstrated troubleshooting and project management skillsAWS certified applicants would be preferred
💰 $155,000 - $175,000 per year
The starting base pay for this role is between USD 155,000 and USD 175,000 . The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, and other perks.
