As a DevOps engineer you will be working with multiple teams, continuously improving the infrastructure and tools and helping integrate and standardize our Unified Communications platform technologies. Automation is key for us so we are looking for the same mentality.

Current challenges:

We move at a fast pace… sometimes the challenge is not to break stuff;

We are looking towards improving collaboration and communication between different teams;

As a core DevOps model we collaborate with different departments of the company: Operations, Support, Engineering.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and scale production services across multiple cloud providers;

Improve scalability, service reliability and performance;

Automate provisioning and operation of services and infrastructure;

Work with engineering teams to integrate and run services properly in current environments;

Build pipelines and automation for delivery and testing of products;

Flexibility for on-call duties (follow the sun model).

Qualifications:

Hands on experience in building fault tolerant and scalable systems;

Tools-first mindset. You build tools for yourself and others to increase efficiency and to make hard or repetitive tasks easy and quick;

Organized, focused on building, improving, resolving and delivering. Good communicator in and across teams;

Tools and technologies used: Java, Wavefront, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, etc.

Must have:

Experience with Unix/Linux;

Experience with cloud environments (AWS/OCI/Azure/GCP);

Experience with infrastructure management (Terraform/Terragrunt/Cloudformation);

Experience with configuration management (Ansible/Chef);

Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, GoCD).

Nice to have:

Containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes);

Monitoring, Alerting and SLA (Wavefront, New Relic, Grafana, Lightstep);

Database knowledge (Mysql, Redis, Kafka);

Scripting languages (Bash, Python);

Security and vulnerability tools (Cloudflare, Hashicorp Vault, Nexus).
