Senior DevOps Engineer
Gorilla Logic is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for automation, instrumentation, and stability of our client’s various IT systems. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.
Responsibilities
*Combine sysadmin and development skills to automate IT infrastructure and operations.
*Focus on IT infrastructure to optimize existing systems and eliminating work through automation that defines clear processes for a given operation/business solution
*Sustain scalable and highly reliable software systems for infrastructure and operations.
*Applying a software engineering mindset to systems administrationBring speed and efficiency of deployment of new platform systems.
Technical Requirements
*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
*5+ years of DevOps, systems administration and/or development background.
*5+ years of scripting automation experience (examples are Bash, PowerShell, Python).
*3+ years of Kubernetes implementation experience.
*2+ years of CI/CD experience including build, source control and test automation.
*2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure automation, deployment, optimization, monitoring and performance.
*2+ years of public cloud infrastructure experience in GCP (preferred) or AWS.
*Strong Linux experience including scripting.
*Demonstrated track record of maintaining and building large scale distributed systems.*
Proficient in scripting, coding, and deployment automation.
Bonus Skills
*Experience with Tekton cloud native CI/CD.
