Bazaarvoice is looking for an Associate DevOps engineer to join us in building the future of our Developer Experience Team.
We strongly believe in empowering our engineers to efficiently design, develop, test, and operate the software they create. To that end, our Developer Experience team is responsible for building and maintaining the tools, frameworks, and infrastructure that makes this possible. Providing a Frictionless, Seamless and Compelling Platform experience to enhance the developer experience.
We work closely across engineering teams to understand developers’ requirements and uncover opportunities to improve velocity, provide moments of engineering joy, and ultimately act as a force multiplier for our teams.

Responsibilities: Design, build, and ship the systems and infrastructure that power our applications.Provide reliable, robust, and fast CI/CD pipelinesPropose new technologies or approaches that can improve our infrastructureCreate tooling to improve the developer experienceContinuously monitor and improve our infrastructure for performance, stability, scalability, and securityBuild automation systems following code pattern best practicesWorking closely with developers to improve developer workflows
Essential Criteria: Essential Criteria:1+ years’ experience in a software engineering or DevOps role1+ years’ experience of AWSExperience building or supporting services in a service-oriented architecture.Knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g. CloudFormation, Terraform, helm, etc).Experience creating and managing a CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)Hands-on experience at least in one scripting language Java, Python, Golang or TypeScript.Experience with version control (Git)
Desirable Criteria: Knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies.Knowledge of agile methodologies
