Marketing Cloud Activation team provides support to their marketing partners in strategizing , building, testing and executing email campaigns for Google  Cloud products.


Job Description

As a member of the Quality Assurance team, you will serve as an instrumental part of the production process. The team will rely on your experience in marketing and automation tools, HTML, and attention to detail to ensure the final product is ready for deployment. You’ll be responsible for the accuracy of final assets and troubleshooting any issues that may need to be addressed in the QA process.



Position Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy of final deliverables for stakeholder review 

  • Perform QA on both coded templates and ad-hoc assets

  • Troubleshoot errors found in QA and triage to appropriate teammates if necessary

  • Understandand review project requirements and design documentation to create test artifacts

  • Testi email codes, fixes and enhancements and write and execute test cases and reporting defects 

  • Perform functional, UI, Device, workflow, HTML and data testing

  • Execute test iterations, track / reportresults, troubleshoot and coordinate defect resolution

  • Verify multi-device and cross-platform consistency

  • Understand the scope of business activities and participate in enhancing these areas

  • Ensure compliant, quality and timely delivery of client campaigns


Minimum Requirements

  • 4+ years overall experience with 2yrs experience in Marketo, Eloqua, Marketing Cloud, and similar marketing tools 

  • Strong understanding of HTML and/or CSS to be able to spot errors in codes

  • Knowledge of manual and automated test frameworks like Selenium and App Script or any other similar tool

  • Proficiency in manual web/mobile/API/requirements testing


Preferred Qualifications

Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable:

  • Highly analytical, with a track record of being a strong problem solver

  • Presenting to business stakeholders, and driving value for the business

  • Understanding of marketing operations, processes, business requirements.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities and a high volume of projects
