Overview of Role
66degrees’ Managed Cloud Optimization team works with some of the largest cloud users in the world to help them transform their businesses with technology. Our Cloud Architecture Consultants (CACs) are Google Cloud Platform experts who incorporate a holistic understanding of business and technology to help companies build incredible things.
Our CACs come from varied backgrounds in software and infra engineering roles, but they all share a common passion for solving challenges and guiding vital technological decisions for our diverse client-base. 66degrees has hundreds of clients spanning different industries and cloud usecases, meaning our CACs get an opportunity to see a huge variety of new solutions and problem sets in a short time.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical knowledge and expertise on a broad range of topics and use-cases to our clients, focusing on Google Cloud and related services
- Deliver presentations, workshops, technical design documents, or reference architectures as appropriate to help clients solve technology challenges
- Build solutions around cloud architecture, automation, analytics, or other areas for clients, internal use, and open-source
- Identify opportunities to optimize GCP implementations across all six pillars of Google’s Architecture Framework
- Ensure client needs are met while managing relationships with technical and business stakeholders
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on technical experience with GCP as an architect, SRE, developer, or similar role
- 5 total years of work experience in cloud engineering or similar roles
- Proven customer-facing experience, or desire to learn
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or similar equivalent required
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification at minimum and other certifications strongly preferred
- A strong drive to make an impact building the best GCP consulting practice on the planet
