Title: Cloud Application Development Project Manager, Professional Services

We’re currently searching for an experienced project manager to join our team and continue our tradition of success. What You Will Do as a Cloud Application Development Project Manager:
The Cloud Application Development Project Manager will be accountable for managing customer facing professional services projects for Navisite. Customer projects include cloud greenfield development projects (such as web portals, microservice-based solutions, PaaS service integrations, etc.), database and other refactoring projects, and legacy maintenance projects on cloud and legacy platforms.
Projects can range from 4 weeks to multiple years and are performed by dedicated or shared team of technical engineering resources. Project Management methodologies include both Agile and Waterfall, depending on customer and engagement requirements. Project technologies primarily include public cloud and on-premise or hosted servers operating Windows or Linux, using a variety of front-end, back-end and data tier technical stacks.
Each Cloud Application Development Project Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of one to multiple customer migration projects simultaneously. The Project Manager is the key customer-facing manager during migration projects and is accountable for the successful delivery of the project’s scope of work.
The Cloud Application Development Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:
•Accountable for successfully managing customer application development projects
•Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously
•Oversee and coordinate multiple teams of technical engineering resources to perform project tasks, including system engineers, business analysts, QA resources, UI/UX engineers, DevOps engineers
•Participate in pre-sales and solution definition; create Statements of Work, staffing plans and estimates
•Work directly with customers at multiple levels to define and execute project activities, including with technical resources, functional and customer leadership
•Develop strong, collaborative relationships with customers and other Navisite departments
•Manage project execution to meet customer objectives and company financial objectives, including:
o Coordinate and conduct project kickoff meetings
o Develop detailed project plans
o Track and manage project from initiation to successful completion
o Gather and document the customer’s technical, non-technical, functional, and business requirements
o Manage project scope from project inception through completion; manage change order process
o Track, manage and resolve project risks and issues; escalate scope, budget, schedule and delivery issues with Navisite and customer management
o Track and manage project hours and budget; manage and approve assigned teams’ timecards
o Track, assign and manage project tasks, issues, bugs, etc. to completion
o Oversee quality assurance cycles for all projects
o Write detailed, quality documentation
o Communicate project status on a timely and regular basis, including formal status reports and meetings for customer and Navisite management
o Lead projects to overall success
o Conduct project close-out meetings
•Delivering presentations and workshops to clients and partners
•Coaching and mentoring with customers and teams
•Apply learning from past projects to future projects by developing and continuously improving tools, templates, and processes to facilitate implementation efforts
•Support and monitor project management standards and quality checks used within the Navisite Global Project Management Team
What We Are Looking for in a Cloud Application Development Project Manager

•Business and/or technical bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)

•7+ years successful Project Management experience delivering application development, refactoring and maintenance projects
•Experience project managing small, mid, and large-scale application development project and technical teams using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
•Application development experience is a strong plus, including common development platforms such as Linux, Windows, Java, .Net, Python, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
•Experience with key cloud platforms is a strong plus, including AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI
•PMP Certification strongly desired
