The Atlassian Cloud Administrator at Ansira is responsible for upholding established working agreements, values, and administrative processes. This position provides recommendations, complies with organizational goals, and influences program direction through the lens of Jira & Confluence (J&C) Administration. This position executes tasks within the established J&C foundation to ensure foundational consistency. The Administrator manages the queue of open access requests to ensure prompt access for requesting users, project access, project permission updates, new project creation, workflow creation and maintenance, custom field creation and maintenance, and other troubleshooting requests.

  • Manage, troubleshoot, and provision new access requests.
  • Perform demand intake sessions each time a new Jira project, confluence space, or idea is requested.
  • Uphold and recommend best practices for our Atlassian tools configuration throughout the enterprise.
  • Creation of user groups, workflows, issue types, custom fields, boards, dashboards, and other administrative attributes as requested.
  • Report issues to Atlassian when bugs are discovered.
  • Monitor J&C license usage.
  • Keep the enterprise informed when Atlassian experiences outages or major bugs.
  • Promote an environment of Agile thinking; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Base all decision making from an offline process focus first, before implementing online changes.
  • Perform basic and advanced J&C training sessions as required.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

  • Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technically relevant degree or any combination of equivalent work experience and education.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Jira & Confluence Cloud Administrator for organizations of 500+ users and 50+ projects.
  • Knowledge of advanced Jira administration capabilities such as Bamboo, Bitbucket, OpsGenie integration, plugin management, and AD system integrations.
  • Working knowledge of modern Project management, portfolio management, and agile best practices.
  • Experience with developing creative solutions for complex problems within the Atlassian suite.
