The Opportunity
This is a hands-on role in which you’ll be responsible for building a scalable infrastructure and be a part of a high growth team that drives the culture of devops in the organization.
Your Job Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
- Running the production environment with uptime of 99.9% by monitoring availability of the system and taking a holistic view of
system health to scale and plan for right size capacity as per the traffic need. - Automating the day to day operations and microservice application onboarding to DTAP and new customer onboarding to Production.
- Following security, cost, infrastructure, access, CI/CD best practices and finding out gaps in current setup to follow the same.
- Automation all around, knowing and following best practices of everything that you do is what we want to achieve as a team.
Your Skillset
What makes you a great fit for the team:
- At least 3+ years of Hands-on experience in building CI/CD pipelines which covers security in each stage using GitHub Actions or Jenkins Groovy. Like code analysis tool, image scanning, findings vulnerability etc.
- Any of the scripting language useful for automation, like Python, Bash, Go etc
- Monitoring and alerting for high-traffic web applications using Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Cloudwatch etc
- A strong passion for infrastructure as code and associated automation and provisioning tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible etc.
- Good understanding of AWS networking fundamentals like RouteTables, NAT, NACL, SecurityGroups, TransitGateway, Peering, VPC, VPC Link, Service Endpoint, ALB, NLB etc
- You have a prior experience with Kubernetes and microservices based architectures
- You hold a relevant AWS certification (e.g. AWS solution architect) or you know AWS best practices related to security and cost.
- Good to have basic understanding of API-gateway, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Postgress, Redis or expert level in one of them
