Position Overview:
Ambient.ai is bootstrapping its India Technology Engineering division with exponential growth ahead. The candidate will contribute majorly in the areas of core platform and security engineering of Ambient.ai and will help in bootstrapping India Technology Center.

What you will contribute:
  • Designing and Implementing REST and GraphQL endpoints
  • Designing and implementing highly available, latency-sensitive fault-tolerant microservices
  • Core infrastructure for collecting and processing large volumes of video streaming data
  • Improving the performance, reliability, and scalability of all backend services
  • Define and implement large-size platform problems and own small-to-medium platform features end-to-end
  • You will work as a key member of the platform team that owns one or more services/product features, end-to-end
  • Expect to be challenged and stretch your skills on a daily basis

    • What you bring to Ambient.ai
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent field with a strong programming background
  • Good  knowledge of at least one of the  Object Oriented Programming Languages like Python, C++, Scala, Java, Golang, etc would be required
  • At least 3+ years of experience building highly scalable and available web services
  • Deep expertise in APIs, general web backend design principles, relational databases (MySQL / Postgres), streaming pipelines, pub-sub systems, and indexing systems
  • Strong experience with UNIX-like systems
  • Ability to write clean and maintainable code
  • Ability to design and implement complex systems including communication between several services (pub-sub paradigm, microservices architecture, etc)
  • Ability to manage service reliability, including any cloud operations work (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
  • Experience with building SaaS product offerings will be a huge advantage
