What You'll Do
  • Implement capacity planning for on-premise and provider cloud solutions.
  • Work with the architects to evaluate new technologies and perform POCs (Proof of Concept labs) to extend the multi-year roadmap and set overall technical direction for our infrastructure team.
  • Gather, analyze, and drive project requirements, design and implement infrastructure components.
  • Work closely with an outsourced Level2 team and help define their workflow and runbooks.
  • Have the opportunity to be hands-on, working side by side with our people to get things done.
  • Grow and develop your team's technical capabilities, and manage individual priorities and tasks.
  • Publish Build-To and review the As-Built documentation for current and new server-related design deployments.
  • Provide insightful data to guide decision-making and offer proactive solutions.

    • What You Know
  • Overall 5+ Years of experience in Linux Administration
  • Must have experience in building, deploying, and monitoring distributed apps using container systems (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS)
  • Should be the ability to read and understand code (Java / Python / R / Scala)
  • Must have AWS skillset 
    • Nice to have skills:
  • Experience in SAS Viya administration
  • Experience managing large Big Data clusters
  • Experience in Big Data

    • Education
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in specific technical fields like computer science, math, statistics preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
