Joining the Coupa Cloud Engineering team as a Sr. Lead Cloud Software Engineer, will provide you the opportunity to make a huge impact and take your career to the next level. You will bring an automation-first approach to your day-to-day activities, architecting solutions for a massive-scale cloud infrastructure through code and have a strong sense of service ownership and accountability. You will be supported through in-house training and certification on our Coupa University platform and through subscriptions with leading learning partners. As a Sr. Lead Cloud Software Engineer you will:Participate in design reviews, provide support and leadership to the Engineering organizationServe as technical lead and mentor on a variety of different Cloud Engineering projects and initiativesBring a development mindset in areas such as managing infrastructure as code, elimination of toil, strong sense of accountability and service ownershipHelp to grow the function, onboarding new engineers, providing technical leadership and setting the team directionStay up to date with the latest in industry developments, networking with peers and attending industry eventsBe able to work across and be exposed to many different disciplines and technologies. Including, Observability tools and practices, DevOps tools, Security, Networking, Containers etc…Partner with vendors to review & evaluate new tools, techniques and technologiesParticipate in an on-call rotation as requiredOccasional travel as needed to perform the job function
We’re looking for a Sr. Lead Cloud Software Engineer who:Has a degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 10+ years professional experience, some of which is in an enterprise SaaS organizationHands on experience with cloud public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)Has operated in both data center and cloud environmentsIs familiar with deploying virtual assets using Terraform or similar technologiesWill be confident in their ability to own and deliver projects and issues to resolutionHas a passion for excellence, is a natural problem solver, and a critical thinker. You should enjoy digging deep to understand issues and like solving hard problemsHas a good understanding of networking systems and protocols, particularly as they pertain to a public cloud environmentWants to work in a collaborative and supportive work environmentIs a champion - working closely with other Coupa teams to build security, reliability, and scalability into the development lifecycle

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $144,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation and equity.
