Required Skills and Experience: Advanced coding/scripting (mixins, OOP, concurrency, …) Python, Ruby, Bash or Powershell preferredNetworking (security, advanced DNS, VPN, Cloud, load balancing)System admin (security, multiple OS): understands permissions/security, kernel services and organization of file structure and best practicesAny public cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Kubernetes, tools and approaches related to monitoring/logging, cloud expertCan autonomously contribute to cloud and application orchestration code and actively involved in peer reviewsCan deploy and manage the common tools we use (Jenkins, monitoring, logging, SCM, etc) from codeAdvance networking (tcpdump, network flow security analysis, can collect and understand metric between microservices)Some sense of advance authentication technologies (federated auth, SSO)
Roles and Responsibilities: Able to design and create environments and infrastructure systems with assistanceCan automate bootstrapping of operating systems in clouds with convergent systemsCan fully configure operating systems declaratively from code with convergent systemsCan design and create infrastructure provisioning system frameworks from code with assistanceCan design and create automated application deployment system frameworks from code with assistanceIs actively reviewing pull request of platform code and coaching peersResolves client issues autonomouslyIs capable of raising issues directly with client from management to engineers
