Senior Software Engineer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Remote) - Full-time

We are looking for someone eager to contribute to a team that focuses on Digital Marketing projects in a hands-on technical capacity. You will be part of a larger eCommerce Engineering team across different areas of ownership and expertise for a beloved athletic brand. In this role, you will be on a team primarily working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, but you will have exposure to a larger array of technologies such Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, MuleSoft, Tealium and other Martech platforms.
You will work closely with local and regional stakeholders and assist your team with solutioning, troubleshooting, triaging, workload estimation, and implementation. We expect you to have a strong technical foundation and to have worked on large-scale Digital Marketing projects in the past.

ASICS Digital is a division of ASICS based in Boston, Massachusetts. Our goal is to build digital technologies to better connect the ASICS brand to its consumers. We are responsible for the continued development of mobile-fitness solutions such as ASICS Runkeeper and ASICS Studio, global eCommerce platforms, and supporting digital services that encourage people to move, get fit and stay balanced.



Responsibilities:
  • As a Tech Lead and subject-matter-expert on marketing automation utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud you will architect and design solutions for implementing complex automated journeys across multiple regions, brands and applications.
  • Collaborate across the organization to design digital marketing strategy that aligns with regional digital marketing goals as well as engineering vision.
  • Make recommendations and contribute towards architectural integration design both within the platform, and with the larger eCommerce ecosystem including 3rd party Martech partners.
  • Architect solutions that integrate with platforms managing customer data enabling personalization for ASICS customers
  • Design lifecycle journeys/campaigns/touchpoints for customer segments across various platforms, regions and brands.
  • Your expertise in AMPscript and Dynamic Content capabilities in Salesforce will be used to create personalized email campaigns to target audiences with tailored messages.
  • Influence team members to follow best practices by providing examples/technical solutions from experience.
  • Troubleshoot and triage within the team.
  • Document system designs, workflows and configuration in Confluence.

  • Requirements:
  • 2+ years of highly active Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
  • Two Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certifications (Marketing Cloud Developer, Marketing Cloud. Administrator, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant).
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud APIs (e.g. SOAP APIs, REST APIs, and other integration techniques).
  • Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development (JavaScript, HTML, SQL, Ampscript)
  • Experience integrating external systems with Marketing Cloud (often through the use of middleware tools).
  • Experience with complex data orchestrations.
  • Architecting and solution designing experience.
  • Experience in agile delivery methodology.
  • Experience collaborating and working on medium/large sized engineering and QA teams.

  • Nice to Haves:
  • Familiarity with security standards such as TLS, SSL, SSO, and data encryption.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • Experience working with Middleware (e.g. MuleSoft).
