We are seeking a results-driven, goal-oriented Team Lead on our CRM Platforms Team. This role is a crucial component in delivering results for our largest, most distinguished, enterprise-level clients. You must excel in working with various internal departments including accounts, strategy and marketing, creative, email development, customer experience, analytics. It takes more than just technology to build good CRM, but it takes outstanding technologists to steward its delivery.
 
The ideal candidate must be able to understand how data, marketing technology and marketing automation delivers our clients’ needs and visualize the end result and deliver accordingly. You must be goal and result oriented, both on a large and small scale. Lastly, you must be prepared to meet deliverables, remain on top of all daily project activities, assess changes and risk management, and do so while working on multiple priorities.
 
An ideal candidate will be a systems and business-thinking professional who can visualize processes, user journeys, and help drive best practices within Salesforce applications (i.e. SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, CommerceCloud, MarketingCloud) to accelerate growth within our clients.

What you will be doing
  • Participate in internal & external stakeholders workshops and develop blueprints for building enterprise-quality CRM business applications
  • Communicate frequently with members of GALE’s Creative, Data Science, Client Services teams (among others), ensuring GALE’s principle of “No Silos”
  • Work closely with industry-aligned account teams (Sales, pre-sales, and professional services) to understand customer strategy & requirements and help define the account plan, solution strategy and architecture strategy
  • Bridge the gap between the business strategy and technology enablers and drive value-based solutions.
  • Work closely with technology teams through SDLC which may include hands on troubleshooting and/or code analysis where applicable (~15% hands on)
  • Present strategic business requirements and proposed solution to business and technical stake holders for official sign-off prior to development kick-off
  • Lead architecture diagrams and technical documentation spanning across multiple platforms and databases
  • Lead user acceptance testing for all solutions built
  • Liaise with clients and any external vendors throughout an end-to-end SDLC for CRM and data-driven marketing automation projects
  • Identify risks that threaten project success and recommend work-arounds
  • Help your business and team stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices
  • Understand and manage client expectations to enable a successful partnership between client and GALE Partners teams
  • Participate in all appropriate product/sales training, certifications, educational sessions and industry summits to acquire and maintain knowledge necessary to be effective in the role

  • Share engagement experience with the internal audiences and peers, conduct architecture workshops and other enablement sessions and mentor & guide junior architects

  • Who you are
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, and/or Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • 4+ years of pre-sales and/or client-facing experience
  • A strong understanding of CRM and various marketing principles
  • Proven working experience with leading an end-to-end SDLC involving, not limited to, CRM requirement gathering, Salesforce application design, 3rdparty CRM applications, data modelling, and data integration/migration mapping
  • Can speak the language of Salesforce automation and understand the overarching concepts behind it
  • Well versed in using SOAP APIs, REST APIs and integration techniques
  • You have enterprise mindset and can help craft the future state architecture and "tell a story" as to how to get there
  • You are proficient building customer facing Architecture presentations, diagrams, and whitepapers
  • You possess strong presentation and communication skills and communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • You have an entrepreneurial, creative and Challenger mindset with a passion for ensuring customer success
  • You can proactively develop customer relationships by listening, understanding and anticipating, and then providing solutions to customer needs.
  • You have a data-driven mindset, recognizes the importance of data governance and role that data plays in enabling marketing strategy
  • Advanced understanding of contemporary enterprise class software architectures and developments practices (Agile, DevOps, Jira/Confluence, etc.)
