The Role
The Senior Cloud Engineer will work as an integral part of our Cloud Engineering team maintaining stateless and stateful services within a highly available Microservice environment.

What You'll Do
  • Maintain and develop Microservices in a highly available cloud environment
  • Be involved in a full spectrum of development, including new features and new applications but also tools to support experimentation, localization and customization.
  • Be creative and experiment with new solutions but be pragmatic and committed to code optimization, maintainability, and quality
  • Work with leadership and product owners to prioritize projects and features
  • Collaborate with team and maintain workflows
  • Work with Quality Assurance and Support when necessary to help troubleshoot and triage problems as they arise
  • Mentor and assist junior associates 

  • What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of software development experience 
  • Deep expertise in modern ES6 JavaScript/Node.js
  • Experience with relational and noSQL (e.g., MongoDB, CouchDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB etc.) data stores
  • Experience with Sequelize, Mongoose, or other ORMs
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Docker and container management 
  • Strong understanding of backend application architecture, including background job processing, caching, and platform scaling
  • AWS Solutions Architect Certification a big plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
