Role Summary

You will work on warehouse management platform, committed to innovating how warehouse workers interact with systems and improving daily life in the warehouse. Goal is to enable the warehouse digital twin – streamline movements in the warehouse, lowering operational costs, and putting a focus on employee wellbeing.
You will work with multiple teams to deploy application features from start to finish. As a DevOps Engineer you will Collaborate with Frontend Developers, Backend Developers, Architects and Product Managers to coordinate system operations and development releases.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• As a DevOps Engineer you will collaborate with Frontend Developers, Backend Developers, Architects and Product Managers to coordinate system operations and development releases.


• Play an active role in the shaping of the future of the product


• Collaborate within high performance, cross functional agile teams throughout the SDLC to deliver critical business applications


• Keep apprised of changes in technology and its effects on market needs

Competencies

• Strong English written and verbal communication skills


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience


• 4+ years of DevOps experience


• Experience of deploying Pipeline Tools within Google Cloud Platform


• Experience of Orchestrating Docker/Kubernetes on GKE with autoscaling


• Experience with GCP Cloud Run or other serverless runtime environments


• Experience of working with backend and front-end development teams.


• Familiarity with Typescript, Node, GraphQL and React


• Experience with Cloud based databases like Google Cloud Spanner, AlloyDB or GCP SQL


• Experience with Agile Development and


• Must be willing to travel and work at client sites as required

Good to have:

• Prior experience integrating with ERP Systems (SAP, Epicor, Dynamics, etc)


• Experience with test automation


• Familiarity with secure code tools (Synk, Vericode or similar)


• GCP Certified Professional Cloud Developer


• Experience in enterprise grade applications and environments
