We are looking for a committed Azure Systems Administrator to join our Infrastructure team. Solve unique, challenging problems for our Minister of Defense and Home Office customers. Help manage large volumes of critical, real-time information about issues from global to local. Get s#it done.
This position requires an active United Kingdom Secret Check (SC) security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain at minimum an Developed Vetting (DV) Security Clearance.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGMaintaining, troubleshooting, and configuring distributed environments based on many open source and commercial productsSystem administration of development, test and production systems at various locations across the globeImplementing and utilizing monitoring, alerting, and response system capabilitiesAnalyzing system, software and user performance metrics to include trend captureImplementing and utilizing production change and compliance management systems covering hardware life cycle, system updates, software and security patching, and technology roadmapsMaintaining a suite of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support production operations appropriate to existing or anticipated failure modes that expertly document responses to system failure issuesConfiguring and maintaining user account management interfaces and system supports including direct customer interfaceUtilizing security management capabilities and helping ensure a secure and MoD compliant service and system architectureSupporting the DevOps environment of cutting edge military and national defense related applicationsPeriodic planned, scheduled, and/or rotational on-call system maintenance support outside of normal duty hours, as requiredKeeping up with trends in DevSecOps and SREPerforming maintenance work on-site one weekend per monthProviding on-call support on some weeknights and weekends based on the predefined schedule
