We’re looking for a Junior DevOps Production Engineer to develop, automate and scale our internal tech infrastructure for our 300+ engineers.
Junior DevOps Production Engineers are people with passion for technologies, leveraging existing utilities and APIs to help us move faster while preserving high standards.
This role will report to our Team Manager R&D, Production Engineering.

A DevOps Production Engineer is a Software Engineer with passion for infrastructure, exploring new technologies, building applications and tools to help us move faster while preserving high quality while being an effective communicator and a team member.
So, what will you be doing all day?
Your role as part of the R&D team means your daily responsibilities may include:
- Leverage and engage towards frameworks and tools that are already in use by the R&D and have a direct impact on how Similarweb delivers software and data
- Build new automated processes
- Collaborate with the R&D, assist with solving issues, advocate for infrastructure practices
- Maintain a great relationship with an R&D group and represent the group’s infrastructure context
This is the perfect job for someone who:
This position requires an engineer who shares our passion for technology, infrastructure and using amazing products while being an effective communicator and a people person
- Some experience in scripting languages (Python/Ruby/Java/Node.js/Go).
- Some experience with Amazon Web Services/Google Cloud Engine or similar.
- Linux troubleshooting
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration solutions such as Nomad, Kubernetes, Mesos or Swarm
It’s a plus if you also have:
- Experience with at least one configuration management tool such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform, Packer, etc.
- Good understanding of Web Servers, Load Balancers, Caching Systems, Relational databases, networking, etc.
- Experience with large-scale operations.
