Why we're hiring:


The cloud will deliver transformative value to WPP and its Operating Companies by creating outstanding services for customers that both delight and enhance the experience for clients and colleagues. The CloudHub is a new centralised cloud engineering, solution architecture and operations team that will simplify, secure and accelerate the use of cloud at WPP by creating fantastic products, making cloud easy and keeping everyone safe.


Cloud Service Manager is critical for the success of CloudHub Engineering, managing the team that assists cloud consumers to design fit for purpose infrastructure. 


What you'll be doing:


The Cloud Service Manager is focused on the lifecycle management of the the cloud services in WPP.



  • Work with the relevant stakeholders to define the service requirements

  • Drive SLAs, measure performance and identify areas where the services can be improved or streamlined

  • Drive the development and delivery of the cloud services offered by Cloud Hub

  • Ensure that the cloud services comply with regulatory and legal requirements

  • Drive problem management and continuous improvement

  • Communicate and influence the stakeholders in the wider WPP organisation to ensure the broadest understanding of Cloud Hub services

  • Act as a go-to point for cloud services

  • Experience in dealing with customers and ability to resolve conflicting priorities with stakeholders Understanding of the requirements of the customer use of the Cloud


What you'll need:



  • Completed training in AWS/Azure/GCP Fundamentals

  • Knowledge and understanding Cloud technologies (compute, storage etc.)

  • Knowledge and experience of Enterprise IT management frameworks (e.g. ITIL v4, SAFe)

  • Knowledge of Service Design and process improvement using various methodologies e.g. Lean, Agile

  • Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies

  • Experience working with ServiceNow

  • Extensive experience in managing, defining and delivering clearly defined services that meet business needs

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills

  • Build a strong rapport with technical and business teams in a managed services environment

  • Able to articulate technical issues in a terms of business risk and opportunity
