This will be a unique experience for someone with hustle to kick off our sales engagements. You are going to be the very first hire on our sales team and will report directly to our CEO.
Ockam has a partnership with Confluent. Users of Confluent Cloud should be customers of Ockam Orchestrator. You will utilize your experience at Confluent to engage Confluent Cloud customers and work with them to adopt Ockam.
Ockam is one of the fastest growing open source projects on GitHub today. We have thousands of leads that we need to engage and then encourage to purchase Ockam Orchestrator. We just launched Ockam Orchestrator into the AWS marketplace. Our GTM strategy is product-led, however we plan to add some mechanical energy into our bottoms-up / developer-led model. You will actively seek and reach out to new leads and will aim to talk with a dozen users/leads per week.
This role would be ideal for a highly entrepreneurial individual that loves to experiment. You will need to have a lot of hustle in the way you approach your work day. You will be writing the playbook for how Ockam sells into companies - not just following one.
Expertise
You must be a US Citizen and live in the USA to be considered for this role.
You must have experience, or are currently working, at Confluent.
